  • Exchange Policy

This policy applies to all performances of An American in Paris in Australia.

Tickets may only be exchanged for other performances of An American in Paris within the city of the originally ticketed performance.

Exchanges must be made no later than 48 hours prior to the start of the originally ticketed performance (except in the event of illness, border restrictions and stay at home orders – see below).

A $10 per ticket fee applies up to a maximum of $30 per exchange transaction. Exchange may be subject to additional fees if expedited delivery is requested or if the ticket delivery option selected differs from the original.

Fee will be waived within 24 hours of original purchase.

If you or any of your party are experiencing flu-like symptoms, have tested positive, are awaiting test results for COVID-19 on the day of the performance, or if you are affected by COVID-19 related restrictions, we will offer you an exchange into a future performance in the city of the originally ticketed performance free of charge.

If you booked your tickets and are an interstate, international traveller or in an area under stay at home orders and are unable to attend due to travel restrictions around the time of your performance, please contact the relevant authorised ticket seller no later than a week before your performance and we will work with you to exchange your tickets for a future performance (subject to availability). If borders shut suddenly within 7 days of your performance, we will also work with you to exchange your tickets for a future performance (subject to availability).

Tickets may be exchanged for any other single performance on sale at time of exchange for the city the original ticket was purchased for, subject to seat availability, blackout dates, sold-out performances and other restrictions. Exchanges may not be made for same performance or into different cities.

Exchanges will only be made for tickets purchased through the authorised ticket seller for the venue:

    a. For tickets purchased via Ticketek for the Adelaide season, call 131 246

    b. For group sales please contact your groups representative. This exchange policy does not apply to tickets purchased through Ticketmaster.

    c. Tickets purchased via 3rd party providers are subject to their exchange policies. Please note that the only authorised seller for tickets of An American in Paris in Australia is Ticketek.

Exchanges will be valued at original face value of the ticket purchased. Additional payments apply if choosing a performance or section that costs more than the original or if exchanges are from an originally-discounted ticket into a performance with no discounted tickets available.

Guests may receive partial refunds if the face value of the original ticket is higher than the face value of the new ticket. Refunds are not otherwise allowed except as guaranteed under Australian consumer law.

New special offers may not be applied to exchanged tickets.

Exchanges may not be made to reduce the total number of tickets originally purchased.

Upon exchange, original tickets will be voided and will not allow access into the performance. Customers must present newly issued tickets for entry into the performance.

Complimentary tickets and resold tickets are not eligible for exchange.

Other restrictions may apply. Exchange policy may change or be revoked without notice.
